Lt. Cmdr. Rebecca Dickinson testified in Federal court yesterday that she serviced hundreds of clients for D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane-Palfrey at rates of $250-$300 per hour.
Granted immunity from federal prosecution in exchange for her testimony, Dickinson detailed having sex with almost every client that Palfrey hooked her up with from October 2005 through April 2006.
A Navy officer familiar with the case said Dickinson had an exemplary Navy career until the allegations surfaced last year; Dickinson had two Navy/Marine Corps Commendation medals and four Navy/Marine Corps Achievement medals, according to records provided by Navy Personnel Command.
While at the Naval academy from 2004 to 2007, Lt. Cmdr. Rebecca Dickinson worked as a food services officer – responsible for feeding more than 4,000 midshipmen each day – and also taught one class on Naval Leadership, Navy officials said.
The naval officer said Rebecca Dickinson’s decision to become a hooker might have been financial - she had filed for bankruptcy in the months before she responded to an advertisement placed by Palfrey in a Washington, DC newspaper.
Palfrey, who ran her escort service from her Northern California home, said she never met Dickinson or many of the people she called “independent contractors” but said she spoke to Lt. Cmdr. Dickinson several times each week by telephone.
Phone records released by DC Madam Palfrey show more than 200 calls between her office phone number and a cell phone registered to a Rebecca Dickinson.
The DC Madam case became a media firestorm after Palfrey released phone records of all her clients , which in turn ensnared Louisiana Senator Vitter and other famous Washington figures.
The ongoing trial has involved sensational testimony from a variety of escorts who all admitting having sex with their clients, including one escort who was 56 when she started hooking with the DC Madam’s escort service.
And that’s the latest news on the high-priced call girl, Navy Lt. Cmdr. Rebecca Dickinson.

We do not know the whole story behind Rebecca’s decision to be a high priced call girl and what was she thinking when she made that choice?
Given her financial problems, she could not go to a counsellor in the Navy as they would tell her superiors of such as she may wel lhave held a Top Secret clearance which one must remain financially solvent at all times. To have debt such as a mortgage and car payments along with credit card payments is ok in the course of living, but to have to file for bankruptcy protection is a warning flag as her security clearance could have been revoked. They would have revoked her clearances and forced her out of the services before she cokuld hit the magic 20 year base to collect her pension. She should not have gone into prostitution as a means to get tax free quick cash and not filed for bankruptcy (legal fees?) until she could file for retirement and start collecting her pension. THereafter, whatever she chooses to do is all right as long as the conduct is not illegal.
Now career is ruined, private job offers are dead, ex husband will probably file to get full custody of three children on grounds that ex wife is morally and mentally unfit to be their mother.
Stupid choices one makes can last a lifetime.

The US Military pays its officers rather well. I only wish I had been getting paid what they’re making now when I was on Active duty. As a Lt. Commander, she’d have been making over $75k a year. That’s not chump change. She was also married. Exactly what was her husband doing for a living? It’s not like she was stationed in Iraq and he was having to work two jobs and raise the kids. Between the two of them, they should’ve been bringing in at least $100k a year. How hard would it be to live on that in Maryland? Granted if you are sending your kids to expensive private schools, or living in a house that’s in a high end neighborhood, you might have problems, but most of Md isn’t that expensive to live in.

Well I know from experience that the cost of living in the MD area is very high pretty much all over. The average rental is between $1200-1800 a month. The average commutte to and from work is 1hr 30mins. And most people live about 20-40 miles away from work and alot even further than that. I know gas prices for the past 3 years has been no lower than $2.70 on average. And not to mention the utility rates have gone up drastically in those 3 years also. I’ve heard of electric bills as high as $400 in a month. So to say that it’s not expensive to live in MD is BS. Because no matter where in MD you live to me it’s all the same!

Unfortunate LCDR Dickinson made the wrong choices. First a story..have a contractor that built over a 1000 homeless shelters helping 100s of thousands of people but in a moment of haste sucked one dick before he died. What will he be remember for? Yep just dead cocksucker.
How much punishment is enough for her. She needed money as she was over $300, 000 in debt. She saw no way out. Others mention security clearance..yep that could of been lost or in the process thereof. Where was her husband in all this? Is she also responsible for child support?
Kudos to LCDR Dickinson for having the courage and integrity to go into a court and tell her roll. Remember she is not on trial but most have immediately convicted her. (See contractor story above)

UPDATE: Navy Lt. Commander Rebecca Dickinson, former part-time prostitute for the late “D.C. Madam” has been quietly rewarded by the Navy with retirement from the service with full benefits and no loss of rank.

Gimme a break, it was not the Navy’s fault…I’ll tell you I was stationed at the Naval Academy at the same time as her. I knew her, and she got herself into a financial mess over a man who took her for some money among other things. She was not an exceptional officer, she was not even mediocre. She was overweight, out of shape and sloppy in a uniform. She had not taken the PRT the entire time at USNA because she was so out of shape she could not pass it. I am good friends with someone that worked for her and she nearly was fired at his recommendation due to ineptitude. She nearly bankrupted the organization she worked for due to not being able to accomplish her job. Don’t give her kudos unless you know the situation. She was and is a dirtbag and will remain so for the rest of her life. She should be in prison and should definitely not been allowed to retire. She is a disgrace to all honorable men and women who have served.

Lieutenant Commander Dickinson received an honorable discharge on October 31, 2008, without any reduction in rank.
The USA allowed actual war criminals to receive honorable discharges.
There is a US Marine officer who shot two unarmed Iraqis captives, in the back, and then desecrated their corpses, because he wanted to “send a message” to Iraqi civilians. The charges against him were dropped — even the charge of body desecration. He received an honorable discharge. And he is now running for US Congress.
