The racy Vanity Fair embarrassing pic of Miley Cyrus doesn’t actually show anything, but parents of her young fans were shocked that the Hannah Montana star would simulate being topless even for a photographer as famous in her own right as Annie Leiebovitz.
Disney spokeswoman Patti McTeague faulted Vanity Fair for the racy photos. “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” she said.
Miley Cyrus, clearly embarrassed by the Vanity Fair pictures, released a statement Sunday saying, “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
In some of the racy Vanity Fair photos of the young Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus is wearing an extremely short minidress and a leather jacket while straddling a motorcycle.

Miley doesn’t seem to be too embarrassed in this picture from the vanity fair photoshoot where she’s getting her hair placed just so before the next photo is taken.
Of course, Miley Cyrus did also issue an apology to her fans about the other set of embarrassing pictures that surfaced of Miley in her green bra.
Not much has been said either about the racy pictures of Miley with her boyfriend Thomas Sturges. Teenagers these days!
